Welcome to Trips for Kids Rio Grande!

Trips for Kids(TFK) is a nationally recognized not-for-profit, public charity that utilizes biking programs to empower youth to live healthy lives, be environmentally appreciative and protective, and to be personally responsible for their own lives and the communities in which they live. TFK-Rio Grande has organized a group of cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts to give youth, who would not otherwise have the opportunity, a chance to learn about themselves, their environment and their community through the biking programs that we offer.

The youth we serve participate in physical challenges and achievement; skill development and practice; and health, environmental and vocational education activities.

It is the overall goal of TFK- Rio Grande to equip youth with the tools that they need to live healthy and responsible lives, and to give back to the communities where they live. TFK-Rio Grande works with a variety of local youth agencies who serve disadvantaged youth to provide daylong mountain bike adventures for their kids. We provide bikes, helmets and a team of experienced mountain bikers to give groups of up to ten children a real mountain biking experience.
